-saw to cut copper pipe & wood
-drill and 1/2″ hole drill bit
-Pendant Light with Edison bulb – mine is from IlluminateVintage on etsy but you can get one anywhere. I liked the metal color options & cord color options for a vintage look… plus IlluminateVintage is a local Houston Crafter as well!
Like I might have mentioned before… I have a handy dandy husband… maybe I should’ve included that on the materials list. First I had him cut the copper pipe into two pieces, one 8″ long and then other 16″ long. Then I popped on the elbow and cap – 16″ as the stand and 8″ as the arm with the elbow connecting them and the cap on the end of the arm. We found a piece of wood we already had and cut it to 5 1/2″ x 8″… the 8″ will be parallel with the arm. Then I picked a spot on the end of the 8″ direction to drill the 1/2″ hole in the wood to stick the pipe in. Wrapped the pendant light around and that’s it! Now we have matching bed side table lights! Total for the stand came out to $9.16 each!
